Zhitomirtorf is a oldest and biggest peat moss supplier in Ukraine.
It was founded in 1947 year in USSR times. Zhitomirtorf is located in Zhitomirskaya oblast, in 100 km far from capital of Ukraine - Kiev.
Zhitomirskaya oblast has more than 200 peat fields with reserves of peat more than 500 thousand tons each, that can used for industrial extraction.
Zhitomirtorf has two production units: Olevskiy peat mill and Ozeryanskiy peat mill with licenses for three peat fields: Ozeryani, Gvozd, Chistina.
Today we can propose milled peat moss for agriculture, garden peat, peat-mineral fertilizers, peat based composts and burning peat.
Unique properties of peat mill "Gvozd" allows to use it in animal husbandry.
